New nightly released!

Hey everyone. Long time no post. All the devving has been going on on the XDA thread so nothing much has happened here.

But now I'm back. And with a new nightly. ONLY FLASH IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING. Here it is
  • Synced with latest repos
  • Android 2.3.7
  • All bugs fixed apart from tempermental USB mounting. 
  • You can use QTADB for that though

Also I will post a new link for Gingerman later today if you don't want to flash a nightly.

    FYI, link here is broken, for some reason. Looks like blogger did something to it.

    When I tried to install this ROM on my IDEOS-U8150 using CWM recovery, I received following error. Kindly help me out...
    I'm pasting the complete error log file which is generated by CWM recovery.

    Downloaded zip is not signed for as it reports bad size and does'nt install. please put the downloads on some good location.

    Radio not working.
    Keeps on Rebooting when I insert the Memory Card s I have to use the phone without a Card.
    Portable WiFi gives me an error message.

    Usb storage doestn function at all even mac and windows.

    During call audio is not routed to handsfree (wired) no matter what setting I chose the audio still comes from phone earpiece. Works fine with other such as music and video player. Please update this and usb mounting issue. Despite these it is a great work and revs up the phone really.

    I seem to be facing a problem with older versions of the gingerman and the new v7. when flash the rom, i get stuck in the oem boot. when i flashed the nightly, everything worked out just fine. i had to switch over to fusionideos :( coz i couldnt get this to work and i needed wifi. oh and i was running the 6.5.1 just fine until i tried to up to v7. for some reason, even that one doesnt move past the oem boot. i dont even get the cm boot animation. can someone help me please??

    x alfonso...la rom nel complesso è stabile e molto fluida e performante, funziona tutto egregiamente tranne la radio che ancora non è supportata, ma credo che il cuoco di questa rom risolverà questo piccolo bug al più presto, comunque la puoi montare ugualmente, ne resterai soddisfatto.

    Hey guys to answer a few questions..
    - Yes this is a stable NIGHTLY, i have been using it since the 1st day of release and it has never crashed on me yet.
    - No FM radio or SD/USB mounting.
    - Battery life is trippled, i can last 3 days with wifi off, However LED notification light is continuously on
    - If you are having other problems MAKE SURE you did a FACTORY RESET!! if you have just flashed the rom without a factory reset expect problems :)

    In answer to above questions:

    1. USB mounting works for me (try wipe + factory reset when installing)

    2. Video camera works for me (do a factory reset to fix this)

    3. This ROM includes multitouch when flashed over stockrom

    4. Wifi working for me without problems.

    Yup I can confirm that LED notification light is continuously illuminated with green on new message (rather than blinking), and then switches off after the message has been cleared.

    noona ra Use CWM to flash it download rom manager from market and there is an option Flash CWM recovery :)

    My soft keys lights aren't working properly. In low light I can't see the keys. I can make them come on, but they only stay on a few seconds. Any ideas?

    Huawei Ideos u8150, and 2.2 froyo..
    is it can be upgraded into 2.3 gingerbread?

    I'm sorry, but I cannon't find the way to enable multitouch on this rom. Any ideas? ROMs like the DroniX enable it by default on Synaptic panels.

    ok bugs i spotted:
    1> wifi times out in 5 min or so even when being used
    2>slightly unstable even with no oc, a few crashes and random freeze-restarts
    3>no handsfree

    the other bugs mikey already mentioned are there.
    On the plus i have multitouch and oc. while installing i did a factory reset. installed gingerman v7 then the multitouch rom and then this update over that. oc and multitouch working fine mostly except for the random crashes i mentioned. could this be the problem?

    Danke, the nightly is awesome. WIFI works. However, there is no sound when playing recorded videos. It also crashes the camera when one uses the barcode scanner... any suggestions?

    My problem is the sound. It still plays distorted sound when it reaches the maximum volume or even just close to it. The other is the camera. It does not take 3mp, only 2mp.

    Is there any fix for this?

    the u8150 is only a 2mp camera. they market our phone 3mp cause the huawei rom upscales the picture so its not true 3mp.

    I'm not able to browse the built in cd partition to get the "USB Driver" for adb.

    For everybody which had problems with USB mounting of SD, I read on the forum that after activating and deactivating usb tethering fix the problem. And this worked for me! :-)
